The "Official" Uncommon Headbage Image Gallery / Depository Thread
Scattered images of interesting headbadges end up all over the C&V forum. Here's a thread where we can place them for easier viewing. I'll start off with a few I've come across recenty. (These are from my cell phone camera so image quality isn't very good.)
I haven't seen any threads that just list bike brands but this one may work out to be a suitable substitute to help put together a list for anyone who is interested in that.
Of these the Sunbelt one is pretty wild, but I like the Iverson the best...

Should we post any headtube badge or only interesting/odd ones? Because I've got plenty of "normal" ones that aren't especially interesting.

Problem comes down to lever travel, mounting like that you are severely limiting the travel by the bar (ie it will hit the handlebar without pulling on it much). Those levers were only meant for mounting vertical on drop bars and were designed accordingly.

You are one brave soul to mount that brake lever like that! Suicide levers are even better than that

It's all fixed now, I have proper bullhorns and brake now .

Post what you want, but for the sake of saving bandwidth it is probably most appropriate not to post common stuff like Schwinn, Peugeot, Raleigh, etc. unless they are a rather old or special badge design.

Edit: The empire is NZ made and from the 1930s-1940s? The Healing is also NZ made and from the late 1970s and the Burco is Dutch and from the 1970s?

1982 KHS Turbo-No one seems to know anything about. I have seen a few threads about KHS road bikes, but nothing informative.

It is indeed Oryx, kudos for pointing that out, East Hill. The designer should get a stern talking to for using a font that makes it so difficult to read correctly.

alicestrong, I think that your headbadge is someone's family crest. It looks just like the french side of my family's crest except we have 3 clover leafs instead of whatever those flowers are. It's very pretty. Who made this bike?

Does anyone know the identity of the Legnano knight? He reminds me a bit of the Rathausmann badge on the seat tube of Capo #2. Here is a friend's "Rathausmann," which the frame painter unfortunately left on the bike during the silver repaint.
