Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It doesn't even have to be a social situation. A small welcome-to-the-practice party. You people need to watch more TV movies.

Just got a phone call and voice mail with a number showing as Austria. Some of the message got cut off, but I was warned if I did press one to speak to the "concern department" legal action will be taken against me. I am doomed!

So, yeah! No chemo is great news!!
I had a sinus infection that wouldn't go away. Received stronger and stronger anitbiotics. Saw many doctors until they sent me to UCSF. They put a picc line into me that went from my forearm into my heart. They said it was because the antibiotic was caustic and had to mix in the turbulence. I had to inject it at home every day. First few times I waited for a hole to develop in my chest.

I could look into this but with Ti you need to have a welder who really knows what they are doing. At this point I may just stick with cable shifting vs. bite the bullet and get Etap, I think the marginal rip-off cost of the SRAM eTap is less than the marginal cost of getting a professional welder to update the 12 year old Ti frame plus cost of internal wired Di2.

Most excellent. I hope things continue to roll/sail in a smooth manner

Mrs. LAJ had a port, which was good in the long run, but I had to learn to disconnect her doggie bag she brought home from the infusion appointment. I was ascared I would booger it up, then after the first time, it was OK.

I'm driving about 7k per year since I retired. I think it's great. In the mid 90s my commute was about 30k per year.

The more I think about a titanium frame build, the more expensive the idea becomes. It would be stupid to buy a titanium frame and skimp on the components, after all.
