What is the secret to being able to post?
Not a Facebook user. I get notifications from bikeforums regularly but don’t often go deep into the page. Maybe I’m inept (probably) but when I try to respond or post I’m notified that I’m not permitted, but not how to gain that permission.
My introduction follows.
-Ten plus years in the industry and twelve bikes in operating condition, from 1953 to 2015, including:
-2 recumbents
-3 vintage English
-1 full suspension
-1 tandem
-Also four or more not operating, including one I’ve owned since ~1961.
Once took a forty day unsupported tour.
Several organized ‘century’ rides, solo and tandem.
Piloted an offroad tandem throughout Moab slickrock country. (Try that sometime).
So, how do I gain access to comment or post?

First off, welcome!
As for posting, your count shows 19 posts since you joined.
If you wish to reply in a thread, just use the quote button in the menu at the bottom right. Other than that, more info is needed to solve the problem.

Welcome. There are just 1 or 2 subforums that require permission to post, such as politics & Religion. You should be able to post freely otherwise.
As Trsnrtr said, more info is needed if you still have problems.
