How can you between Record and Chorus aero seatposts?

I'm looking to get a Record aero seatpost to "complete" the groupset on my 90's Colnago with 8-speed Record. However, looking through eBay for example, there seem to be some confusion what is a Chorus post and what is a Record post. Is there some easy way to tell the difference? Some versions do look very similar.

I have both the C-Record and Chorus Aero Seatposts. The Chorus seatpost has “Chorus” engraved/etched on the front of the round tube.

edit: There were variations of the Aero seatposts made. Apparently, not all of them were marked and it may not be easy to identify the year and model. It may be a C-Record, Croce d’ Aune, Athena, or Chorus. They all look similar.

Croce d'Aune and Chorus look pretty similar. CdA has slightly different 'wings' to hide the bolt, amongst other subtle differences.

VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo Chorus Aero C0R1 / C0R1-S (1st gen.)

VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo Croce d' Aune (long version)

Victory/Triomphe posts look identical to Chorus, but there's no 'Made In Italy' engraving above the minimum insertion line.

2nd gen Chorus had a horizontal 'Campagnolo' band at the top of the round section.

VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo Chorus Aero

C-Rec posts have a different top and bolt configuration.

VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo C-Record (Aero type, 130mm)

Athena also look similar, but have 'Athena' engraved on them - as did Chorus of the same era.

VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo Athena SP-10AT (v2)

I've seen plenty of Chorus/CdA seat posts advertised for sale as C-/Record.
