Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No worries - too busy changing out stripped spur gears on the rc car to watch too much 'ball. Couldn't get into the the apartment tonight so I had to do the hotel again.. they raised price 50% since the other night due to decreased vacancy.. had my revenge on their landscaping via high torqued 3'' off-road tires. One day I'll grow up, lmao.

My next bicycle is coming, as long as Scott desperately unloads excess high end road bikes @ half price August-October like they have the last few years. They better because this stupid overpriced sled has a retail MSRP of $10,999. Idiots. No wonder nobody buys them until they give them away. Zipps, Di2, just needs a power meter. My LBS will swap the 303s for 404s @ no cost too.

As do my recent original songs.

Will You
Words and Music by Peter Cotsis

Will you love me when I’m low
Will you always let me know
Will you be here when I’m down
Will you always be around

Will you stay here til we’re old
Will you warm me when I’m cold
Can we make this love for good
I was thinkin that we should

Will you tell me if I ask you
You’ve been here now for a while
You don’t always try to show me
Cause that’s really not your style...not your style

Will you help me write this song
Maybe we could both belong
Will you really see this through
Do you feel it like I do

Will you tell me cause I’m wonderin
Just exactly what you planned
Don’t you think it’s time we both knew
Will you tell me where we stand

(Bridge) Is this close to what you’re feeling
Is this all just in my mind
Are you only kind of dealing
Are you only being kind

Will you love me when I’m low
Will you always let me know
Can we make this love for good
I was thinkin that we should

Will you tell me if I ask you
Cause I really gotta know
It’s my heart that wants the answer
You would break it if you go.... please don’t go

Baby I’m Down
Words and Music by Peter Cotsis

It’s a warm summer evening
The city sky is fading to black
The breeze comes off the water
And it cools me as I’m walking back
I find myself thinking of you
We met last night and talked for hours just we two
Late after the midnight
In that club with that East River view

So if you want to take my call
And take a chance
When the music starts
I might ask you to dance
And if you want to come
On out and hear me play
Girl you might just like my sound
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down

Maybe you’re from Venus
And maybe I’m from Mars
And maybe girl at this point
Well we’ve both seen one too many bars
Hooking up this way I guess it seems all wrong
But something bout you baby made me write this song
I just can’t shake this feeling
Like somehow I’ve known you all along

So if you want to take my call
And take a chance
When the music starts
I might ask you to dance
And if you want to come
On out and hear me play
Girl you might just like my sound
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down

(Bridge) Last night I got this feeling
Did you feel it too
A love worth having
May be worth a risk or two
And if you think that maybe
We could make this go
Baby won’t you let me know

It’s a warm summer evening
The city lights are starting to glow
I’m walkin with you baby and
I feel a love that’s starting to grow

So if you want to take my call
And take a chance
This song’s for you now
Baby can I have this dance
And if you want to come
On out and love this man
Baby that sounds like a plan
Girl you might just like my sound

Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down
Baby I’m down

Can't stand the stem/headtube junction on aero bikes these days. They only look good if they're completely slammed. Should be a nice ride, though. Looks as fast as the 'vette.

Should the "Addiction" thread be changed to "Foiled" in honor of the new bike?

Office and school closed today. Probably a wise choice. I wish I could go for a ride, I may wax up the XC skis later if this ice changes over to snow.

Early alarm was for 5:30am. Not much snow on the ground, so I went back to bed until the regular alarm sounded.

What size? If it's roughly 60cm I want first dibs.

TNWs supposed to begin tonight. With this weather I am not sure I want to go. Main issue is having to ride back home in the dark.
