No Strava. I should have, but it was slow. No KOM's there.

At this time I would like to announce the winner of the snark contest, also known as the July 2014 Grand Snarkathon ™.
We had a great field of contestants this year (compared to last year), and for one or two spells the competition was hotly contested. It was ugly at times, which in snark parlance is a good thing. Subtle insults and veiled innuendos were flying thick as pea soup. But I digress.
The winner of the Snarkathon IS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . drum roll . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . none other than . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . more drum roll . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . SURGEONSTONE!
Ol' stoney pulled out the victory primarily due to perseverance. Whereas other contestants faded and pretty much disappeared over the last few days, stoney hung in there slinging veiled insults to the very end. That level of professionalism and dedication should not go unrewarded. As I present the 14k gold trophy, lets have a big hand for our champion, Surgeonstone!
Thank you, thankyouverymuch!
As well I'd like to acknowledge the talented field of runner-ups. Although yours truly BillyD put on a late spurt with the 'Fanatics' post, it was too little too late. He sucks! Hope he doesn't even show up for the next contest.
Our first runner-up was Ramona W. She nearly stole the show, but eventually came up just short. Thatsashame!
Mr. 3alarmer was scheduled to announce the second runner-up, but in his absence I will simply acknowledge the most noteworthy qualified contestants: RollCNY, Ruokie, 3alarmer (a former champion and perennial all-star), Whhoosshh, Halfspeed, Velo Vol, Coasting, and Datlas . . . . in no particular order. Thanks for participating, better luck next time you scrubs!
Once again, congratulations to our champion and to our runner-ups as well, and see you next time. Your prizes are in the mail.
BTW, if your name wasn't mentioned you are obviously too damn nice. HTFU and try again next time. Wimps!

Thank you, thank you so very much, I ...I just don't know....Oh thank you all for seeing the talent, the work, the good luck.
I'd like to thank my Mom and Dad for being there, for being such models of snarkiness, I couldn't have done it without you, Mom, Dad, wherever you are out their in this great universe, thank you.
My wife, your love and patience, you have been soooo kind, soooo encouraging, how could I even face a day of snarking without your love and support.
I'd like to thank Professor Baranak in cardiac surgery, he is my role model, the snark was an unknown idiom before Professor Bob came into the world. He showed me how, in anger, in love, in admiration, in emergencies where all seems lost, he showed me just how to wield the snarky reply and to use it in such a way that the recipient would even fail to recognize just how badly they had been snarked.
For members and voters of the Academy Of Snarkiness, I can only say that I feel unworthy when there are so many excellent snarkers out there, Bdop, Wi-Fi, Ruokie and least we forget- the most excellent purveyors of snark that have sadly been absent- the absolute King- pcad and his worthy competitor- Whoooshie and who can forget Botto. Only in their absence could I even be considered.
Again , thank you, thank you....thank you....Oh My... you actually Like me, you Do, You actually Like me!

Stoney may win on sheer volume, but I provide a finely curated, small-batch, artisanal product crafted for the finest quality.

We tried that sort of thing before. The box didn't make it passed the second stop.

This old right knee is so sore and whacked. As much as I dread this operation, I really need it right now.
