The Head Badge Close Up thread,

I found this picture https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FWfwX9_Esl...ne_Inside3.jpg on this site https://thesekineproject.blogspot.ca which makes reference to it and confirms that it's from 1980 (as do the original components on the bike) but I already knew that since I'm only the second owner.

My bikes became Vintage
Claud Butler
I didn't see a Claud headbadge yet, so here goes:
This particular one isn't mine, but I have a NOS one, never installed, yet to be curved to fit the head tube, but no picture. I always thought Clauds had the prettiest headbadges, maybe because that was my first real bike in the 1950s.

Awesome thread.
And proof positive you guys are turning me OCD: I now think that headbadges look best on frame sizes between 54-58 cm.

You gonna eat that?
The first is the worst headbadge EVAR, from my 1994 Nishiki Sport XRS.
The next is my 1983 Raleigh Marathon
And my 1983 Raleigh Super Course.
You can see the apparent difference in workmanship between the Marathon (Taiwan) and the Super Course (Japan).

1954 R.O. Harrison - New Star Cycles. According to Classic Lightweights UK, the metal head badge is very rare. The few other ROH bikes I've seen have had a head decal.
