WTB Shimano 9 speed triple FD
Need a triple FD for a 9 speed Simano 105
Or something similar that would work.
It's replacing Shimano Tiara. Spring is broken.
I have a thread in the mechanic section.
Thought it was the brifter !!

These tend to break at the spring stop like that. Microshift makes a good replacement. Otherwise Shimano Claris or Sora have options to work.

Search for a Shimano FD-5503.. they are Specific to 9sp. and work great.
just avoid GRX, and Tiagra 4700, or many newer Dura-Ace models too. they use a different pull ratio.
the "3" at the end of the numerals means it's a Triple...

and the "3" isn't always the last numeral for a triple .. some color schemes may change that.
best to also compare the mechanical appearance of the mech when replacing one.

Clamp type and size aren't deal breakers. Larger clamps can be shimmed. Braze on adaptors are readily available. Pull adaptors are also available, but in my eyes a kludge.
I personally often buy braze ons as with an adaptor will fit numerous frames.
