Thanks for posting. Neat read. The AlAn product always presented as high quality and of course, innovative exotic. A percentage of them developed fractures in the front portion of the head tube lugs.

Around the same year as this article, they introduced the carbon tubed version using same lugs as the ally tubed frame. Have one.

** Just crossed my mind; Gary writing and was this the same timeline you started in business with him?

The Alan frame is one I have ridden a few times, but never owned. Always liked what I rode, and have wanted one for many years, but alas it can no longer be. Liked the article.
