1972 Bob Jackson
531 frame, Dura-Ace FD and RD (Crane), Sugino Mighty Competition crank, Suntour Mighty shfters, Weinmann Vainqueur brakes, VO Gran Compe levers, Nitto stem and bars, Brooks saddle and CR18 wheels

Picked this up from forum member VRJAKE and rode it with the Portland crew on the Banks-Vernonia trail. Very smooth

I'm glad that Bob Jackson went from one good owner to another good owner. I was tempted, but based on the set-up, it fits you better than it would have fit me. It's in the right home.

Nice bike, I really like the paint/color, looks like one of the racier models in terms of geometry, and with the brake pads not struggling to reach 700c rims.

Thanks for the comments
So far I haven't been able to photograph the color. It's translucent green over silver base and looks way more brilliant to the eye.

This one strongly tempted me when it was for sale. Price was nice. Hope you're enjoying it. Looks great with your changes.

I’d like to spend more time appreciating the build but I can’t seem to keep my eyes from moving back to the paint color. What a beautiful bike!
