Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Then I hit a snag. Last cassette cog does not fit on freehub body.

The wheels are the stock DT Swiss boat anchors that came with the bike. When I took off the 10s cassette, there WAS a thin (sub-mm) washer so I was told that means the body will accept 11s, but clearly this one won’t.

Before I post in mechanics forum, wtf is going on?
Edco (?PrestaCycle?) used to make an 11 speed cassette that fit on the Shimano HG 10 hub.

And they are on sale, for you today only special! https://prestacycle.com/products/pre...pr_seq=uniform

Watching an olde Newsradio just now, laughing at Jimmy James, when I look at the audience at his book release and there's Ron Jeremy. WTF??? Then I see, sitting in the same row, there's Brian Posehn!!!

Had this on earlier when I was working on desk stuff. Overall, not particularly interesting, but she did make a good point on how lame the "social" aspect of Strava is.

Basically you're just posting activities that your friends see. Not really useful for meeting new people (RIP FlyBys) who might have similar interests.

What was "Flybys" exactly? Never been super into Strava.

I had auto upload configured before w Garmin Connect, but then I got a new Iphone and for some reason it won't pair with my Garmin 520. Weird. Can't be bothered to manually upload rides, don't care enough. So now it only gets the virtual rides that Zwift sends to Strava. Coincidentally, that's basically all I'm doing now, but there wa a good 6-12 month period where my Strava activity was pretty low from the 2ish days/week I would be on Zwift and mostly outside.
