Are the Pave's your daily drivers? I'm thinking about getting them as my everyday train/race tire. Not sure how long they live though, nor do I really ride in Pave like conditions, I just want green tires. Tubulars or clinchers?

Here is my 1990 Trek 1420, not entirely flashy and pushing 20 years old. It's a mix of Shimano 105 and Deore DX, originally sold as a sport touring model. This bike gets the majority of the miles.

They're my racing tires and My first race on them is on Sunday. I've never really justified a reason to take them out before this.
If Lampre and Garmin both use these tires for everything from Roubaix to TdF mountian stages, I'm sure we'll find them comfortable and grippy.

My "new" road bike. A mid nineties Avanti Pro fitted with Campagnolo Mirage, except for the Centaur RD. It's my first bike with brifters and was brought for the sole purpose of racing on. I didn't have the $$ to spring for a new road bike.
I need to get a shorter stem though. The 40km ride home killed my shoulders. I'll also save up and get some clipless pedals and shoes.

New changes to my whip.
-Easton EC90 SL Fork
-Needed a Cane Creek headset because the fork race was a different size on my old headset
Older but still newish changes.
-New/old Ultegra 6500 Crankset with shorter cranks for my short legs!

Hell no. She'll never be a ss/fg. That's why I have my bar/rain/snow/ss/fg bike! But I'm sure that was all in sarcasm, because this board is full of it.
Well...I like my bike. Sure, it's no $3,000 carbon machine, but I bought her for $400 about three years ago, and I'm damn proud of everything I've learned about wrenching on bikes by doing my own work on her.
Why do I bother posting here.

Hey... that's MY bike! Well, a shorter version of it. She looks great! Mine has been nothing but a dream to own. Fast, fun, dependable, and no problems outside of the norm (tuning, occasional flat, etc) & I commute, do long weekend rides, and have done a couple centuries with her. I keep up (and usually drop) all the carbon boys all the time....
I think the most I want to do with her, over time, is upgrade the seat post, handlebars, and wheels to shed a little weight, but it's hardly necessary. I think I need to get a fresh photo of mine, for posterity.
Nice to see yours again!

Was dropping the kids off for a sleep over, noticed a bicycle sitting in the lawn of a neighbor, taped to the top tube was a yellow sheet of paper which read, '$10'. Knock on the door and handed the old man two $5's. No idea what it was other than a early '80's Peugeot, researched and determined it to be a 1984 Peugeot P6 (entry level for them days) road bike. The AZ heat kept this ride in great shape. Broke it down, scraped out all the crusted grease, new tires/tubes/tape, new bar tape, replaced the saddle ('80's Turbo), adjusted/tightened/lubed all else and voila! A fully functioning all original classic.
