Reynolds 565 & 13?

Does anyone here know anything about either of these offerings?

this Makino frameset was made in 2019 for keirin racing.

Highly recommended, if you like this kind of ride

I might not be the most adept researcher but I couldn't find any info anywhere

Pretty sure those are both fake decals. Can't find a lick about them even on the Reynolds website and I've never seen either before. If I'm wrong I'm happy to be enlightened.

Also, very odd to have two decals for main tubes on one bike.

Well not so weird for keirin frame builders to mix and match tubes for specific purposes -Shiko Matsuda who makes Level frames is known for doing this and although I'm definitely not sure the rider didn't put on fake stickers I also believe it's quite possible that the folks at Makino have access to tubesets not generally available or the ability to order bespoke alloys - Columbus even makes a version of spirit called keirin spirit? Aperently just for the Japanese Keirin.

Kinda of odd 565 is the designation for reynolds top end seemless midium/thin strait gage chom-mo alloy tubing. while not usually used on bikes it is quit possible a top end Keiren builder would use it to get rigidy on a track frame.

Any information on the tubing you can share? I spent a reasonable amount of time searching for information and not a single thing came up about Reynolds 565 tubing.

Killroy1988

Thank you for trying to help me solve this puzzle.

This is as far as my research has progressed - I emailed Toshifumi at NJS Export but he didn't have any information on the tubing - fair enough - but he told me the bike was owned by a rather famous and wealthy keirin rider in Japan (Haruki Tanaka) who is "always looking for the highest performing frame" - judging just from NJS exports collection he certainly had a bunch of Makino frames made over a few years...

I have tried so far unsuccessfully to contact Reynolds through their website but maybe because my Mac is old (or because I Am) I can't get the contact feature to work right.

I have also left a voicemail message for Andy Newlands who I believe is their representative in Portland but so far no answer.

- so if you or anyone has any idea or knowledge about how to contact Reynolds tec please let me know.
Spoiler
