I Am So Brilliant, It's Scary!
I cleaned my bike today and noticed some scuffing of the paint by the Campagnolo pump head. The plastic coating on the tips had fallen off decades ago.
I don't have any Plasti-Dip and don't want to buy any just for this trivial, tiny job. So, I took two short lengths of black, drip irrigation tubing and slipped one over each of the two prongs on the pump head.
It worked so well, I surprised myself.
Now, no more scuffing.

Rubber Latex tubing would likely also work, but is probably more expensive than the irrigation tubing which you probably already have.

the bits sold by many hardware stores are vinyl, black and red most common, there was a location for blue... no inventory.
there was an eBay seller who periodically sold reproductions in a blue close to original. More money of course.

I use toggle switch plastic covers. Back when I had a plane I put those on all the toggles, had a few left over and discovered they fit the campy pump fork ends quite nicely. They come in different colors, look great, and they hold up.
