Replacement Nuovo Record cones 25R

Overhauled a front HF hub yesterday and discovered that both cones are pitted.
I did a search but it is about timing. Posts form 2016 are not helpful when the supplier is gone
What is the recommended practice for replacing cones for either the front or back nuovo record hubs?
Did I read on some thread of using sealed bearings to replace the cup and cone?

Once they are pitted they are replace items (just like headset races). Although fully hardened so it is possible to regrind them, you need specialist equipment to do so - ball tolerances are on the order of millionths-of-an-inch; it is extremely unlikely that a home-shop attempt will get cones all three of smooth, round, and concentric (never mind getting the curve right so the ball contact-angle does not change).

There's some on eBay, not "Record" but NOS and compatible. Seller says at least 10 available:

I've used Ofmega cones to replace 25R in a Record front hub.
They are still working fine after 1k miles.

As every schoolboy knows, Record front hubs have 7/32" balls.
Chorus, being a descendant of the Nuovo Tipo hub have 3/16 balls in the front hub.

So does 1/32 drive incompatibility?
Is there another choice?

Saw a real nice set of NR hubs, yesterday for $100. Seemed like a good deal to me
