OK, technically it is not on the bridge, but at the bridge. Waiting for a small sloop to pass at Woerdense Verlaat, Holland:

Moody skies over the Richmond/San Rafael bridge. Had sunlight in the north bay and got rained on in Richmond. You know what they say about the bay area: "You don't like the weather? Wait ten minutes..."
I'm not actually headed that direction. Drive side pictures and all...

Friend I visited in SF last July sent this pic recently, I'd forgotten he had taken it. Mid-span on the Golden Gate - The bike's a rental, but at least the rider qualifies as vintage (albeit somewhat dorky). Riding over that thing has been a long-time goal, all in all a great trip.

I was getting in a quick ride prior to the bike club meeting on Wednesday, so I stopped at the bridge over Knoxville Ave for a quick photo. This is my touring/commuting/travel bike built by Rich Powers. Great bike, and seems to tolerate a lot of abuse!
In the background of this shot is the Bushwhacker sports shop. They are one of the primary bike shops in the area. I've bought bike shoes & helmets from them, as well as glue for tubular tires. I think I got the Cinelli bar tape (that's on this bike) from them too.
Steve
(apologies to Russell for copying his photo. )

Thank you cooperryder As does yours. Mine's an 82 613 21" frame. Other than the size, I think we have the same frame. Found it about ten years ago. Didn't need it and it's a step smaller than I usually ride, but just could not pass up the red imron paint job.
I bought it for the paint job ; thank goodness I like how it rides.

Mine too has an excellent ride quality.
Everytime I ride it I think, "What a great riding bike."
I too like the color.
Mine has a few chips and scrapes but nothing too bad that bothers me.
The taller stem and swept back Sunlite North Road bars really work for my back and aging 70 plus a few years old body.
I'm running 700x38 Panaracer Gravel Kings with smooth tread .
I like'em...very smooth rolling tire.

Another nice day today, riding a shiny bike, so I stopped on the Bob Michel bridge for some quick shots.
One shot facing north-ish, looking up the Illinois river towards the I-74 bridge and gazing upon the rework of the bridge deck....
and a shot looking south-ish, with the Cedar St. bridge in the background....
Two photos and three bridges!
Do I get extra credit?

Going through a couple of archives.
Railroad Bridge converted to a bike bridge near Armitage Park, Eugene.
Waterfront in Portland, but there are definitely bridges in the background.
Does this count as a bridge? Buena Vista.
