Parts for Converting a Double to a Triple

SOLD

Be kind to your knees and get some better use out of your bike in the hilly country.

Selling this as an all in one kit. $100, plus actual shipping. CONUS only.

This is basically what you need to convert a current 10-12 speed into a 15-21 speed triple. These parts came off of a functional bike and worked together to run a 6 by 3 drivetrain on my wife’s touring style bike.
  • Sugino VP 130 triple crankset. 165 mm crank length. 50/40/28 chainrings. Good functional condition and presentable cosmetic condition.
  • Bottom bracket that matches triple crank. BSA (English) BB with bearings, bolts and sleeve guard. Very little wear. In excellent condition
  • Shimano Deore LX front derailleur. Clamp is 28.6. Excellent cosmetic and functional shape.
  • Shimano Sora long cage rear derailleur. Very good cosmetic (except the label peeled off) and excellent functional condition.
I also have 5-6 speed freewheels in English and French threading in the 26-28 tooth range that I will include for free if you want to swap out an existing corncob. Remember, the inner chainring is a 28 so you won’t need a mega range rear freewheel.

Would also be good for setting up a vintage MTB or gravel bike

Just thought I would mention this.
