Photoshoot of the 1988 Specialized Sirrus
Making this a separate post for those looking for detailed shot of one of these in the future. Not the best of lighting by the time I got it ready but they should do the job.
22 lbs 12 ozs without the pedals. Could probably shave a pound off easily swapping on light wheels, tires, and a 7 speed cassette.
The most damage is on this chainstay. If it was a keeper I'd take days filling those in and blending. Touch up paint is fairly close so I got the mix ok. Hard to notice with the naked eye.
FD is working really smooth
Dura Ace chainrings and the original 105 crank arms polished
Replacement seatpost and a decent Turbo saddle
Original stem polished nicely
Brakes look pretty good
Smooth rolling rear hub
Nice detail
The only white touch-up is shown here
