Ever since I saw a bicycle as pickup option on the Target shopping app, I've wondered if they really would deliver your online purchases to your bike.

Quick answer: yes, they will, and cheerfully, too. I don't suppose many people do this, but it's a whole lot easier than worrying about your bike while you are inside shopping.

If only I could use the excuse of forgetting to unclip from the pedals! Longish day playing in the rain……last hole and left it on a slope next to the tee box. The push cart decided to take off while I was hitting……

Walking 18 is such good exercise. I sure wish I'd held on to my Bag Boy pull cart with the wide grey wheels after seeing what they're going for on Etsy. I replaced it with one of those lightweight Ping tripod bags & sold it at a yard sale I think.
I've been off the bike with a badly cut left hand from a table saw accident Wednesday the 10th. Hoping to be back on a bike after Thanksgiving if the Dr. OK's it. On one of our last rides with our small weeknight group, I mentioned I wanted to make a good fall bike photo for that photo thread in general, but we didn't see anything worthy before it got dark. My friend Lynn sent this photo he made on a solo ride that's really good, so I'll add it here while I'm rehabbing - Happy Thanksgiving everyone !

Pittsburgh has an annual event, Light Up Night, to kick off the holiday season with live music, a Christmas market, food trucks and fireworks. The temperature was in the upper 40's, but the air was calm so I decided to take my first night-time ride in the city. Here are a few photos:
Rachel Carson Bridge from the downtown side of the Allegheny
Cityscape from across the Allegheny River and the Northshore Trail with the fireworks barge on the river
The Andy Warhol Bridge
I was running two Cygolite Metro lights on the front (950 and 700) and a Planet Bike rear blinky. I felt secure and safe but I stayed out of the crowds with the bike and mostly rode quiet back streets and trails. It was a fun night and a short but enjoyable ride.
