I posted my 615 the day I got it a page back, and here it is with a Brooks and gold bar tape. It'll probably stay essentially like this for a while. I may add a front rack and fenders later...

Thanks! And thanks for replying in general--I was beginning to think I might have somehow turned it into the ugliest bike on earth after nobody replied for a couple of days, ha ha. It feels really comfortable, too.

Thought I would post this up in the Miyata thread. I was planning on selling this but I made the mistake of riding it. It is a very enjoyable experience.

1984 Miyata 210. For Sale.
56cm frame, chromo triple butted.
3x6 Shimano ratcheting, Signature triple crankset.
Dia Compe braking and Avocet Touring saddle.
Sakae Road Champion bars.
no pedals.
I really don't want to go to eBay on this.

Here's my 1986 Miyata 610, which will likely soon be thinned from the herd.

Due to what I've read about the smiles Miyatas put on their owner's faces, I (rather impulsively) picked up a near-mint 1987 912 a couple of days ago. Since these pics were taken, I've put on a black B-17, some Vittoria Randonneur tires and some black cork bar tape, but this beauty was all original, even down to the tires!

My 1985 Three Ten.
Full Shimano 105, weighs about 24 pounds. Ridiculously fun to ride.

I picked up this Miyata Shredder mountain bike a few months ago. The bike is circa 1990. It was filthy when I got it but cleaned up real nice. It's a really nice bike weighing in at a reasonable 26-27lbs, not bad for an MTB. The frame is triple butted chromoly, Tange as I recall. The components were Deore 500LX. The bars are Ritchey OEM. I rode it a little and it's a very nice rider with a really LONG stem. It has since gone to another owner, and he flipped it on CL so I've lost track of it.

Heres mine that I found in the morning today, all it needed was air in the tires, and some small adjustments, a nice ride to me anyway.

My Miyata 912
Attached are photos of my Miyata 912--converted to a fixed gear. It is a nice, stiff ride! I'm also working on building up a 1981 Miyata 1000.
