Help with derailleur hanger Schwinn Al Comp verification
I have a 2020? Schwinn Al Comp that I am upgrading and would like to acquire a spare hanger. It looks like it's a 485 but would like to verify that if possible.

Hangers are easier to identify when removed from the bike so you can see the other side. Then you spend a bunch of time comparing your hanger to pictures of other hangers until you find a match. Yours appears to have two mounting bolts, so any hanger that has a different number of holes in it is obviously wrong. I'd start searching here.

I was looking at derailleur hanger .com, and they showed this one as 485, makes me wonder if they've got the picture wrong. Their 339 os different as well. I found it on Amazon and Ebay as well for less than $20 shipped thank you for your help.

Do you bend a lot of RD hangers? I've never had to replace a RD hanger in almost 50 years of riding bikes with derailleurs. I've had to bend a few back into place. Most of them on the bikes my kids rode. Buying stuff you might need will leave you with no storage and shelf space by the time you are my age.
Buy some extra tires and tubes instead. At least those stand a chance of being useful for other bikes. Maybe a chain too.

That's a good point, I guess I fear a stick getting in the works and mangling things up, I guess either way that's going to be a walk back to the truck. I probably will hold on, and save it for reference
