Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycliq Fly12 Sport Mount

I plan to start commuting to work. I have a 2021 Madone SLR7.
I was thinking of getting a Cycliq Fly12 Sport, but I am having difficulty finding a mount for it.
I'd like it under the Garmin on the outfront mount. It looks like K-Edge has something close, but they say it's incompatible.
Any suggestions on mounts?
Thanks

Why is it incompatible? They're still bundling the GoPro style adapter with this Fly12, right?

I just use a machined aluminum out front adapter that I got on Amazon for under 20 bucks, but I'm assuming that you'll need to do one of Trek/Bontrager's Bendr mounts with your bars/stem.

Not sure, this is the one I found from them that looks like it should work. I emailed them to ask.

Cool - the mount, at least, should be compatible.

In looking for a mount for myself, I recall that some (many?) mounts weren't weight compatible - the Fly12 is on the big and heavy side of cameras and/or lights - and that might be why k-edge isn't recommending it.

You should be able to use whatever combo mount is GoPro compatible. I had a bad experience with K-Edge so now use KOM Cycling mounts, which use a handy quick release for the underside.
