Maybe. If you get the 25.4 you might be able to get the controls around the curves. FYI,a trekking/butterfly bar will be cheaper, will def be compatible with your stock controls and stem, and will give you multiple hand positions with the ability to get aero.

is 25.4 the diameter of the bar for the entire length or just at the clamp area?

I have made mountain shifters fit a that bar with a file, but didn't like the fit. Eventually went to bar end shifters and cane creek scr 5 levers because of the disc v brake combo I am running.

Nashbar usually carries them under the name 'trekking bar'. Google for more choices.

Here is a site that carries them. Butterfly bars or trekking bars.

25.4 mm (1") is the clamp diameter. Beyond the clamp area, bars taper to 7/8" (MTB and upright and trekking bars, many bullhorns bars) or 15/16" (most road bars, some bullhorns). Your MTB brake/shift levers will probably not work on drop bars. If the clams are aluminum, they probably won't work, though you could take them to a machine shop and mill them out from 7/8 to 15/16. On an older bike with steel clamps, sometimes the clamps will work on 15/16 bars. The OP's bike is newer, though, and probably has aluminum clamps.
But for braking on drop bars, drop bar levers will be more ergonomic anyway. Tektro linear pull (v-brake) levers are $20-25 a pair (does the front disc brake on this bike have the same cable pull as v-brakes?). Changing the shifters is trickier, but there are options.
But the suggestion to get trekking bars instead of drops is a good one, if you want to avoid changing brake levers and shifters.
Looking at the photo of your bike, the bars are pretty high. Depending on what you want, you may want to get a stem with a different angle, or flip the one you have, if your goal is partly to be a bit more aerodynamic.

FYI Nashbar has been out of trekking bars for several months. There is nothing on their site about when, if ever, they will be back in stock.
McGreivey, the picture of the OPs bike is a stock shot on the Dick's Sporting Goods site. Its not the actual bike.
