@grolby - Dang, you must be a short effer. That head tube is about the height of a roll of quarters.
@spectastic - You might want to check out the Specialized Roubaix Pro in 700x30/32. It comes stock on the Diverge, and they're pretty reasonable at $40 MSRP.

Ooh, it does look even better! And I've got nothing on CDR's stem. That's a stock -25 degree 110mm stem. His is some custom craziness! Like I said, I'd like to switch to a Syntace Flatforce to get the same result with better looks, but for now this is working for me.

Yeah, the stack height of that HS is what's killing it. If it had an internal HS you'd be fine with a -17.

Went from my first bike out of college to fancier carbon bike to even fancier bling bike and now back to ol' faithful. Rode it across tx and ca. Not the prettiest or the fanciest but it rides like a Cadillac and hasn't held me back. Plain, simple and easy to service. Carbon tubular and possibly skinsuit+aero helmet for race day. *much love*

It won't get race wheels for a while but I took it out today as-is and did a ~60-min 40k. Placebo has me liking it.

I don't know that skewer but the cam shape suggests that it's closed? Counter intuitive though.

Also my first thought was "there are no cables on that bike", which I find super appealing.

I still have some adjustments to make and need to get the fit right (Hence, the extra steerer tube for now). But I dig it.

Rode this last night, reach is 2 cm longer than before. Will be going back to the red bike with previous reach measurement. I prefer the new shape Campy levers, the FSA Compact bar's drops. I do like the 39 cm stays, they are phenomenal when out of the saddle, red bike is slightly longer at 39.3 cm. On the black bike I do a lot of "lifting the front wheel" in sprints, on the red bike it doesn't happen that I remember. I prefer the "lift front wheel" thing. 170 cranks, probably going back to 175s with appropriate seat height drop and setback.

I use the small ring most of the time in training, even on the trainer. I only recently started using the big ring on the trainer regularly.
Also I'm risk averse and I want a front derailleur if only to guide the chain.
I wish I could justify a 54T.
For now I have two pairs of Praxis 53x39 rings to wear out. I think I have a while to go.
Also I'm going to move back to the red bike. I like the way the black bike looks though, and I like how it feels when I jump.

I think it's a specific type of chainring that supposedly doesn't need a FD and doesn't need a guide. It alternates a narrow tooth (normal looking) with a wide (track looking) tooth. That makes it harder for the chain to come off, but apparently still allows the chainline to adjust from shifting in the back.
