@spectastic - You might want to check out the Specialized Roubaix Pro in 700x30/32. It comes stock on the Diverge, and they're pretty reasonable at $40 MSRP.
Going to order some schwalbe durano tires through qbp at the shop I currently work at,.. before I quit... We don't have specialized as our supplier, so that probably won't happen.

It's 115mm. Would be fine if it took an integrated headset, or even a zero-stack, but it doesn't. Nonetheless, I am contentified for the time being. I'd like to switch out the goofy Specialized stem for something a little more aesthetically pleasing - I've had my eye on getting a Syntace Flatforce for a while. But that can wait.

Ooh, it does look even better! And I've got nothing on CDR's stem. That's a stock -25 degree 110mm stem. His is some custom craziness! Like I said, I'd like to switch to a Syntace Flatforce to get the same result with better looks, but for now this is working for me.

Yeah, the stack height of that HS is what's killing it. If it had an internal HS you'd be fine with a -17.

Just picked the TT bike up after a cockpit upgrade. Now I just need to actually ride it. It has been soooo long.

It won't get race wheels for a while but I took it out today as-is and did a ~60-min 40k. Placebo has me liking it.

I don't know that skewer but the cam shape suggests that it's closed? Counter intuitive though.

Gah. My best ever 40k (TT bike, 24" front wheel, 17mm tires, disk rear, Giro TT helmet, aero bars, skinsuit, some semblance of fitness) was 1:03.30. I only did one other and I did a 1:09 or something, same set up.

Also my first thought was "there are no cables on that bike", which I find super appealing.

I still have some adjustments to make and need to get the fit right (Hence, the extra steerer tube for now). But I dig it.

Saw one of those on Snake Alley Crit. I think it looks great. If I were to get a new bike that would probably be it.

Rode this last night, reach is 2 cm longer than before. Will be going back to the red bike with previous reach measurement. I prefer the new shape Campy levers, the FSA Compact bar's drops. I do like the 39 cm stays, they are phenomenal when out of the saddle, red bike is slightly longer at 39.3 cm. On the black bike I do a lot of "lifting the front wheel" in sprints, on the red bike it doesn't happen that I remember. I prefer the "lift front wheel" thing. 170 cranks, probably going back to 175s with appropriate seat height drop and setback.

CDR you are a good candidate for running a 52 or 54 narrow-wide single ring up front.

What's a narrow-wide? I googled and read briefly but I'm dumb.

I use the small ring most of the time in training, even on the trainer. I only recently started using the big ring on the trainer regularly.

Also I'm risk averse and I want a front derailleur if only to guide the chain.

I wish I could justify a 54T.

For now I have two pairs of Praxis 53x39 rings to wear out. I think I have a while to go.

Also I'm going to move back to the red bike. I like the way the black bike looks though, and I like how it feels when I jump.

A narrow-wide is a single chainring up front. No 39 and no FD.

I think it's a specific type of chainring that supposedly doesn't need a FD and doesn't need a guide. It alternates a narrow tooth (normal looking) with a wide (track looking) tooth. That makes it harder for the chain to come off, but apparently still allows the chainline to adjust from shifting in the back.
