I'll get in here:
Jan 396
Feb 288
Mar 407
April 400
May 605
June 228
July 175
Aug 448
Sept 660
A bunch of school year commuting days and a few weekend rides added up for September
It is about time to ramp it up some and get to 8-900 with with some weekend centuries +/- by March.
It has been a few years since I did long and hard rides and my bikes are getting bored.

Checked the Garmin a few weeks ago to log miles for challenge that I signed on for, couldn't get all the miles ridden entered but saw that I rode almost 3400 since June 2020 when I put this unit into service.
On a good month when I ride to work everyday, I get 320 for 20 days so about 3860 if I ride the full year commuting (only done that a couple of times).
Thing is, I didn't work even half of that time so most of it was piddly 5-10 mi. rides around home, way better than I would have thought.
However, not working and getting 8-10 mi. a day walking still made for a very poor fitness level in the end, oh well.

100 or so per week, wife likes to walk so that is good cross training Every thing near me (Colorado Springs) is up and down, very little flat space so a trip,e is required for me in my 60’s.

So about 80% of these miles are a 48 round trip commute done 3-4 times a week. My 'longer' weekend rides might be 40-60 with the odd 80 mile ride. All solo.
Still no centuries!

Did 424 in October - Good weather and decent fitness made it happen. Mostly compiled on 65+ mile weekend rides. Only got out a couple of times after work, since it's getting dark early. Need to come up with 244 miles by Dec 31 to get to 3K for the year. Temps are diving and it could snow at any time, so I'm looking to "make hay while the sun shines".

Well, before I chime in, do miles on Zwift count? Due to weather, work, and family, I've spent 95% of my ride time in the virtual world.

160 - which is fairly typical for November. Short days and cold temps are limiting riding. My temperature cutoff is around 40 degrees, otherwise, I risk bronchitis. Going to have to chip away at the remaining 84 miles to reach 3K for the year.

I was hoping for more riding than I was able to do in Nov as the weather wasn't too bad for late fall/early winter in the Boston area. Ended up with 369 miles (which doesn't include commuting and errand running--probably another 50-60). Total tracked miles for the year is 4,386. I kinda doubt I'll be making it to 5K this year!

Month of November 603 miles, leaves me 80 miles short of 5000 for 2021. This will make 5 years in a row with at least that many, 41,000 in the last 8 years.

^Congrats, Mike!
2021 was a bust for me in terms of cycling mileage (covid=no commute, over-worked, plus injured and off the bike August-October). Hoping for a much better 2022.

This sounds very familiar to me. Last year, a leap year, I set a goal of 7320 miles to average 20 mpd for the whole year. I hit the 7320 on Nov. 30th and swore I would take it easy for the month of December. A week into December I decided to go for the 8,000, thinking I would probably never get to that number again. I hit 8002 on the last day of the year. I am glad I did that. I am in my 70th year, slowing down with less stamina, that 8002 figure is far above what I ever thought I would do in a year.

If I could get to 5k it would be my best year. So far my best year is 4525 and I am only 59. I am hoping to be "slowing" down when I get to 70.

Happy New Year! 2021's totals:
January Total 294.3
February Total 86.4 (Got Covid at the start of the month - didn't qualify for a vaccine until March )
March Total 355.7
April Total 388.7
May Total 314.1
June Total 355.1
July Total 292.4
August Total 336.5
September Total 242.6
October Total 285.5
November Total 221.7
December Total 141.7
Commuting 1633.1
Other rides 1681.6 (Almost a perfectly even split between business and pleasure!)
2021 Grand Total 3314.7
Of note: nearly half the total miles were done on two vintage bikes: my '83 Stumpy and '79 710 (almost evenly split as well)
I was shooting for 3,600 miles, 1,200 more than last year's goal, and almost made it. Illnesses and life aside, it was still a good showing and broke last year's record.
Here's to another good year of riding!

I was at 168 miles for Dec and ended up 2021 with 4,577 total miles. That doesn’t include commuting or errand running, so I’m ready to call it 5K total. So far it looks like it’s going to be a mild winter in the Boston area, so I hope to get a good start on piling up miles in 2022.

134 for December. A daytime ride on the 31st added 43 miles. Was hoping for a 2500-ish year and ended up with 3050. WFH and decent fall weather helped a lot. First time I’ve done 3K in over 20 years. Seems like 2500-3000 is a good bike/life balance for me. All miles were on the Schwinn.

Here on the first day of 2022, I seriously plan to do a full Brevet Series thus year which means many longer weekend rides. TOO MUCH FUN.
