I would guess that means you're doing it right. Well...at least you're not doing it wrong. If they hurt, it would be very wrong.

What a waste!! I can get the same shoes on Amazon for less than $40!.... https://a.co/d/e3Uxt70
I have no idea what $1000 driving shoes look like, feel like, or smell like, but I saw a picture of driving shoes once, and I'm sure these are totally exactly the same.

And if you havent used $1000 driving shoes than you cant say they wouldnt make my car go faster, amiright??

I don't need to use them. I was given some free shoes, and I even held some new shoes in a store, once. These experiences made me an expert of all things to do with shoes.

These guys make great vegetable tanned leather. I like both the cordovan and chromexcel leathers, they last forever and you rarely need to pay $1000 for a pair.

Same here. I have $55k wrapped up into my truck, $40K into my SUV over $20k on 7 bikes, $5k in hunting and fishing gear...But damned if I'm going to spend $100 on a jersey!!!
I think because I am cheap in other parts of my life it allows me to afford the mentioned items above and have more money in my pocked for vacations and other road trips.

I bike all year...on average around 5k miles every year. I road bike, mountain bike and fat bike in the winter. My cut off temp in the winter is around 10 degrees. I also compete in mountain bike races, gravel races and winter fat bike races where I'm on the bike from anywhere from 3 hours to 7 hours. My Jersey's from Amazon have not given me any problems on any of the races or rides that have been a long duration.
This was my last mountain bike race on July. 6 hour race and I took 4th place. Maybe I could have have taken 1st or 2nd if I was wearing a more expensive jersey.

You've posted this sort of information before...I can't recall if it was in this thread or a different one. You don't seem to realize that your mileage and temperature threshold don't really give you any special qualifications when it comes to picking out jerseys. You also don't seem to realize that no one cares whether you wear cheap or pricey jerseys...You're the one who is judging posters who don't share your preferences.

If you think about it, the biggest waste in cycling could be all of the valve stem covers that get discarded into the trash. What about the rubber bands that come wrapped around the new tubes? No wonder our land fills are overflowing.

I have several Assos jerseys. They are all in my usual size (Large) and they fit perfectly: snug and aero but not constricting. I wore one tonight on a 45 mile gravel ride and it performed flawlessly. On top of all that, I have found that they last over ten years under very frequent use. I consider them to be a real bargain.

Yeah. Something is off. A pancake flat course, low average speed and a fourth place... not to mention that a weight index of 27 doesn't get anyone a 4th place in any bike race ever except perhaps on the track (or downhill, but not on said course)
Also 10 degrees cutoff temp and fatbiking is a super weird combination... It's around 10 degrees and colder when snow starts to get its best consistency and fun factor. It's also around 10 degrees when ice starts to gain a little grip and you can start increasing speed.
On top of that 10 degrees is hardly a challenge clothing wise. It's still far easier to put too much on rather than too little.

Just for fun I tried on my Arsuxeo jersey this morning just to double check. I do not have the issue in the belly area like you did. Might be because of my build. I'm 5'8" and 185 lbs, but not long in the torso. My Arsuxeo jersey is XL.
I also remembered I have one of their winter cycling jackets (also XL) which fits me well.

10 degrees is my personal cut-off for riding outdoors in the winter. YOUR snow consistency (Finland??) is not my snow consistency. Lots of moisture content in my snow in the upper midwest of the US.
