Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

they both do fine with the old worn out NiCd batteries. It must not be a perfect connection in there. I will likely write Dewalt and see what they have to say.

You could get a good job as a product tester. As I could get one as a website functionality tester.

You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din.

While I most often ride IRL with my hands on the hoods, on Zwift my hands are usually on the ramps or the curve. Rarely on the hoods! With no need to be aero, I sit up just a little more.

Well I'm usually the same and riding the road bike and a fully upright position so I can gasp down air. But once per week or so I like to ride my actual TT bike in position so I can retain some of that specific musculature. But I think I might need to crank that up a notch if I want to race it next year.

So, a mm or so when changing wheels is nothing.

So do I need to adjust the indexing and the limit screw? or is because the limit is off that’s why it won’t shift to the largest cog and everything else is off because of that?

That would be cool, but I could never film myself talking about a product, and if you have not noticed, writing is not my skill set either.

I changed out of kit b/c I felt like crap and they took too damn long

San Luis Rey RR is back as well and hopefully here to stay. It also ends with a moderately long climb but its a lower gradient and a generally less harsh course.

EDIT EDIT: Hahahahhaha I'm wearing a BIkeForums Tshirt in this photo!!! Hard to tell but it's there. I should get some royalties for that. I posted this on my IG and I'm sure membership soared afterward

How do you get a bike forum’s shirt? Mine must have been lost in the mail.

Before I dig into the derailer, I plan on switching cassette again. I threw the 11-34 on but I want that cassette on the “gravel tire wheelset” and I plan on putting a 11-30 on this one.

On my old fangled 'lectric 10 speed, I'll set the upper and lower limit, then press the button so it does the crash recovery deal. I then shift down 5 times from the big cog, and do the fine tune. Meaning press the button so it does the incremental movement when activating the shift lever. Shift the bike until it just starts making noise, then back it off 4 or 5 clicks.

I mixed up a quarter bag of concrete this morning, and will do it again in a day or two. Sometimes it’s just easier to do it yourself. And with that small a mix it was easy to do.

If it were ONLY the limit screw, it wouldn't screw up your indexing. But if it's ONLY your cable tension, you could end up with it not only shifting like crap, but also unable to get into the largest cog.

As far as how to do it, I like "Free to Cycle" on YouTube. He has a number of videos on setup and adjustment of derailleurs and such.

I'm assuming this bike has thru axles, yes? Because if not, it could be that the wheel is misaligned in the dropouts. I get crappy shifting on the Battaglin when the wheel shifts because the chrome plated QR skewer nut can slide against the chrome plated horizontal dropout and put the wheel askew by a tiny amount.
