Ekar 1x12 RD?
Will an Ekar RD work with a mechanical Chorus/Record lever in a 1x12 setup? I would like to use a the clutch RD but with rim brakes.

Doing some googling on this topic because I'm just curious and don't know the answer, but I found another forum that has a huge thread on Ekar and someone stated that this specific combo doesn't work.
The EKAR rear derailleur WILL NOT work with a 12/11/10 speed rear shifter. They are not designed the same. One is a 2d geometry and one is 3d geometry. I should've mentioned this in the questions/answers post I did. Sorry. This comment(will not work) is from Campy directly. I have not tried it.

I read that thread too. I would say it wasn't a definitive no, but a roll of the dice. Just checking here if anything has changed in the last 2 years.
