Time to replace the 18 volt Dewalt batteries again. The third time, I think. The hammer drill came from a pawn shop and is ancient. The regular drill was bought new. The last two sets weren't as good as the originals, and I will likely go aftermarket this time. Dewalt is still selling NiCad. Aftermarket is NiMH and significantly higher amp hour rating. And significantly less expensive.

I must be getting old. The cold was bothering me today and it’s not even cold yet.
Had a weird thing happen. This guy pulled up beside me this morning, and started screaming WTF is that man!!!! Prolly said it 4-5 times, not sure what he was referencing, my extreme speed, incredible calves, or maybe my lights? His day can only get better, that much I do know.

In that vein, Boulderthon 10k: 43:15. HR higher than ever post crash/move. 37th OA, 1AG, beaten only by a single 48yo of the 40+ crowd at all. Mind, there were half and full marathons pulling talent away.
AG did the half, 1:45:06. 372OA, 17AG. She was running it as a full-sim at half distance though.

Bike review. The Cannondale is clearly an entry level road bike but on the whole it’s perfectly fine. The handling is stable and predictable. The 8 speed Sora drivetrain shifts crisply and reliably, although a bit noisy in the bigger two cogs in back. My only minor gripe is the crap-quality brakes are nowhere near what I am used to. They clearly cheaped out on these to hit their price point.

Not sure what the lever pull is like on Sora, but that is easily up-gradable by getting some used Ultegra or DA brakes, as I'm sure you're aware. Shimano brakes are the best IME, as far as rim brakes go.
