seems to be the the idea most agreed upon.
So two things, if I am able to get this cassette off and that turns out that it is missing is this something my LBS would carry? Can I call Competitive Cycles and ask them to send me what they forgot to put on?
Also, is it okay to ride it this way until I figure out how to get it off?

Posted it in the bike engineer thread. Didnt get the confirmation yet that I was hoping for, but two guys thing that its a loose free hub. They said that if cassette was loose the cogs would move independently of each other. If its a loose free hub than the whole cassette would move as one. I have the latter happening from what I can tell.
I didnt ride this morning, I hope that its simple fix either a loose free hub or missing spacer.

Im going to have to take the cassette off for either fix, anything wrong with zipping it together with a zip tie and throwing it in a bowl of gasoline to clean it?

Ive always thought or the body like a bicycle wheel. It starts off in fine shape, smooth bearings, true, shiny, etc. and gradually, it starts to wobble or run rough and the mechanic or doc puts it right and it rolls on again until the next time it needs attention. But eventually, spokes break, races fail, rims crack, or whatever and the wheel has run its last revolution.

It's ok to use gasoline on your cassette but you might want something safer and/or more environmentally friendly, like a citrus degreaser or mineral spirits.

I sent you a PM, but I think that the problem is that you've got a new-fangled - and somewhat dumb - freehub body like mine on the Zipps. They can be pulled straight off without the use of tools. I'm guessing that, at some point when cleaning or changing a tire, the freehub body pulled out a little and didn't get fully re-seated. Pull the wheel off, wiggle this way, wiggle that way and firmly seat.

I have a few things to work on. I overworked it, so it was a little tough. I also think that I need to up the oven temp... that or find the pizza stone that I'd mentioned - it took a little long to cook, adding to the toughness, and didn't brown quite as nicely as I'd like. Next time I'll also let it proof overnight - it was a little bland... maybe a little more yeast, too?
