LOL don't go seeking it out. When you're young it's only done if you have symptoms or risk factors. When you're much older they will start doing it for screening purposes.

"Frack" is the expletive of choice from Battlestar Galactica (the old one and the new one). If you haven't seen it, man, it was the best show on TV for four or five seasons. Highly acclaimed drama that just happened to be some good sci fi too. Amazing politics, sociology, relationships, plot twists, battle plans, fights, all of it.

At least give this a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2x14ZhEc9k

The music is awesome too (first score): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-gvg...1&feature=fvwp

Too many gosh-darned goodies at the house. My wife is an awesome cook. I've tried everything she's baked - over and over.
Getting back on track after Christmas. Still around 161-162 right now. So no worries. 155, here I come.

Is there a reason you were looking into having one? I had my first colonoscopy when I was 19 but that was because there was a reason. Normally you do not get them until you are about 40 unless colon cancer and such runs in your family. Then you may start 5 years earlier or so. If you are in good health at 21 there is probably no reason to get one.

Yeah, my point is that when the time comes, go. I wasn't trying to say "go now."

Just remember that colo-rectal cancer is 100% preventable with proper screenings. (colonoscopy) It is 100% fatal if it metastasizes in your body.

Back on topic:

Tuesday I bought a "bone-in" 10-rib center section of pork roast.
Wednesday I made the stuffing for it (Prunes, dried apricots, shallot, onion, butter, little bit of salt and pepper).
Today I frenched the roast, made an "X" cut all the way through the middle, stuffed it, wrapped it in bacon, tied it up, and put it back in the fridge.
Tomorrow I roast it and make the sauce with the remaining stuffing, more Port and shallots, and the drippings.

trying papaya juice to help digest whey protein.

it's not very sweet. Added some sugar.

It's also tough to juice. Comes out like baby food and I had to mix it with water to make juice.

This will forever be in my mental catalog of theme music. The new one...not.

It is very good. I have a tub of it (the pesto) in the fridge right now and a brand new basil plant for the next batch.

we're having hors d'oeuvre for dinner tonight. Shrimp, cheeses, dips, pepperoni, summer sausage, tomatoes, avocados, etc. All good stuff.

We're watching Julie and Julia later.

I'm pretty sure that I have heard frack or frak well before BG was on the air. (I never watched it, but I have an 18 year old son that has.) I'm thinking that I heard this early to mid 1970's. Then again it may have been from a "born again" from Indiana that I knew about that time. Perhaps he is due a huge royalty check.

Going to a friend's for Gumbo tonight. This has been going on since the late 70s, I think, and I haven't missed one. He doesn't ride road bikes, however.

Merry Christmas all. I whipped up one of my pizzas. Rosemary and garlic in the crust. Mmmmm...

I would say "too much" garlic, but I'm not sure that's even possible. I mean, the pile can only be so steep before the "too much" parts fall off. It's self regulating.
