Converting MK3 Raleigh Chopper seat to MK2

Has anyone successfully changed their MK3 seat to a MK2? Was wondering if there was a way of modifying the MK2 seat frame to fit the seat back plate of the MK3, rather than attempting to find MK2 sissy bars which I know are the wrong diameter for the MK3 frame.

Thank you.

Nothing's impossible but the mk3 sissy bar has the backrest plate welded into it, you'd need to chop that off before mk2's bananaseat can even offer up? Would be less work to obtain mk2 sissy bar + tube shim or just custom bend a thicker fitting tube & tack on the mounting hinge ears. (Also read somewhere there's been a clone mk3 lookalike that's handy for its sissybar part, but probably HTF today.)

Havent tried myself as I prefer keeping the mk3 as factory spec. the modernised seat has its benefits too.
