Are those 27" wheels? I'd put it at a vintage (late 80's) where 700c would have been more common.

57 cm???? Or 61cm?

$120 probably wouldn't be that bad of a deal for it, even with that bar tape.

"What do you mean you like the pedaling part?"

snazzy MOTORIZED BICYCLE - 48 cc - 150 mpg -30 mph -no license needed! - $400 (Willcox)

condition: like new
make / manufacturer: UMotoBikes
model name / number: Dragon Fire
For sale: a snazzy Motorized Bicycle. Black frame with red rims.

Model: Dragon Fire. Purchased from UMotoBikes in Tucson:
U-MOTO DRAGON FIRE 2G 4-STROKE MOTORIZED BICYCLE | U-MOTO Motorized Bicycles, Gas Bikes and Bicycle Motor Kits

48 cc engine.
Engine is 4-stroke, not 2-stroke, so no special 2-stroke oil needed.
Runs on standard gas!
And gets 150 MPG (!), for amazing fuel efficiency.
30 MPH. Perfect for zipping around Willcox.

Only 1 year old. Ridden less than 10 miles (!).
Bought it for my father, but he prefers to continue riding his normal bicycle. So this sweet little thing is up for sale.

If you want to save huge money on gas.... If you want to feel the wind in your hair.... If you hate having to climb into a baking hot car on a hot summer day... If you don't have a driver's license (or it's temporarily suspended).... Then this is the perfect thing for getting around town and doing your errands.

Nifty red basket in front provides lots of storage. Combine it with a backpack, and you can easily get 4-5 bags of groceries home.

An amazing gift for a teenager who needs to get around, or anybody looking for cheap transportation.

Great for taking camping / RVing too. Use it to get around campsites, do errands, etc.

Email, or phone or text.

I don't know if this belongs here or in the "are you looking for..." thread. Please tell me Waterford never put suspension forks on their road bikes:

Is that the really sweet looking bike trailer that is for sale?

4 good potos of the bike trailer, and not one good picture of the bicycle.

Looks like the last picture is of the bike...well, the front wheel...

We hear/read "perfect working order" and all I think is "needs new brake and shift cables and housings all around and preferably a new chain." OR.... it means "works fine in a post nuclear apocalyptic world."

At least that partial picture shows the bike in quite nice condition, FWIW.

That's not a catalog pic? Miyata 1000's are a pretty popular bike so maybe that price isn't unreasonable. It's just that people are selling practically brand new full carbon bikes for only $800 in my area.

It's my size, so I'd actually be interested in seeing it if it was $400-$500

I'm not sure of the different models. But here is a 215ST that is significantly smaller, and going for significantly less.

Amazing Miyata Touring Road Bike 215ST Med. 53cm Japanese Steel Frame - $250 (Campus/eugene)

Do the model numbers correspond to the price?

The first two pictures (the first, seems like a video) are factory, with the third being a picture of a front wheel with a fender. The background and picture angle are haphazard, suggesting this is the owner's own (poor) photo. Reminds me of 75% of pickup truck sellers and their pictures. Frustrating. I think $950 is crazy. Your desire to pay $400-500 for a very clean example is, IMO, perfectly reasonable. There was a lady selling an '81 Trek 719 that was grubby with NDS pictures etc for $800 initially. Last time I saw it before it sold she was down to a more realistic $550 asking price. Had it for sale for over a year. Hopefully the same becomes of this one. For high asking prices (for me, certainly above $400), the bike better be clean, perfectly tuned, and properly presented. This Miyata ad is typical, sadly, of poor sellers and it looks like we have to play part waiting game part rescue mission of bikes with disinterested and delusional soon-to-be-ex-owners.
