I ordered from CRC many times, but after Wiggle bought them out, I noticed a drop in stock. I went elsewhere

Got to say that things have gone downhill a bit lately with CRC. It seems to be increasingly difficult to find items which are actually in stock.I know they have a filter for in-stock only, but that isn't quite as helpful as one would think. For example, I was searching for 29" x 2.4" Maxxis Minion DHR tyres the other day. The in-stock filter didn't remove items where there was stock of 26" or 27.5" but not 29", so it left me still clicking on items to find they didn't have the size I wanted. I don't know if I've been unlucky but I've had a lot more trouble finding what I want there lately. Their service is still first class, however, so I'll still be using them when I can - assuming they stay in business.

Ordered early on 10/20/2023 and received pre-shipping notification today. Given the intervening weekend, I have no concerns about ordering other deals via credit card for shipping to the USA.

Looks like the beginning of an industry contraction and consolidation.

Many aren't going to weather a post COVID normalization.

I'm not certain that's the fault of the US vendors. I think it's more to do with trade agreements between the US and Canada. And trade agreements between the United Kingdom and Canada. And with how things have to move through customs and what did and didn't require a duty or other fee on both sides of the border.

As trade agreements changed several times between the USA and the UK, the results could be seen in the prices that Wiggle and Chain reaction were able to offer to the US during many years before COVID in 2020 and the supply chain issues and all else.
