Aug 21st: SF Peninsula C&V riders getting together
@genejockey and I are planning a 30-40 mile ride from the Woodside area on August 21st at 10:00AM. It'll be flat/rolling hitting the Portola loop and some side roads off of it. This is an open invitation to anyone that wants to get together for a C&V ride.
1) No requirements on the type of bike, (no C&V police).
2) We will stop at all stop signs and obey all traffic rules.
3) We will plan for some re-group points
4) Goal is to have a fun ride and meet some of the local C&V'ers face to face and check out some nice bikes.
I will provide more information as we get closer, we just wanted to allow people to get this on their calendar.
This is also posted on the C&V forum

We are expecting our first grandchild near that time so could well be on our way to Florida, should the timing be opportune we would jump to join you on this.

I hope you can make it. But, your priorities are 100% correct and congratulations. If you do make it, I hope you bring the Wilier. I still remember when I saw that bike on CL's and thinking "if it was only a little bigger". Then I saw your post that you got it, I was happy to see it went to a good home. That is still one of my grail bikes.
I'm also hoping this becomes a regular get together (monthly/quarterly)

Even with the new restrictions in the Bay Area, we are still planning to get together since this is an outdoor activity.
We are still working out the details, but the plan is to meet at the Corner of Edgewood Rd and Canada Rd about 5 miles North of Woodside. This is less than a mile off of 280 between 92 and 84. There is a lot of parking on both Edgewood and on Canada.
Again, trying to keep this civilized and to allow for anyone driving in to not have to get up really early. August 21st at 10:00AM.

Reminder. Saturday at 10:00 AM we are doing a C&V ride on the Peninsula.
@genejockey and I have closed on the route and are creating a Cue Sheet for the ride. We will post more updates this week.

We're targeting to have this done in the next day or so.
There seemed to be a lot of interest. PM one of us if you'd like us to send you the documents ahead of time. Otherwise we will have some copies of the cue sheet (W/O pictures) at the start.
