My brand new Campy Super Record RD

My kid has been hinting at belated birthday present for me and I was presented with the final product yesterday. She used a poster hanging in my bathroom and a you tube video of a guy taking one apart. She tried to make it actual size but said some of the parts were too fragile. Self designed spring for the body and also has a spring in the pivot.

Thanks guys. Of note, she is not a bike or sports person at all but as you can imagine, very mechanically and artistically inclined. When she told me how it was designed I pulled out my Campy Catalog 18 with exploded parts views and said "bet this would have come in handy!". She glanced at the Super Record page and said "yeah, but that bracket for the wheels is wrong". Sure enough the outer cage plate on the later model SR looks different than on the first gen SR (similar to the Nuovo Record).

I'll talk to her about refining the print quality and see if there is interest in printing more.

That's not a Campy RD..... It's a Simplex, judging from all the plastic I see on it!
