I'm surprised as to how many bikes I see not cleaned up in the least bit, they could at the least get the money they're asking for, or maybe even more if they cleaned them up thoroughly, and put a nice spray on wax shine before taking photos.

Exactly, and the sellers that put in the least effort are usually the ones who have aggressive language like "Serious buyers only, do not bother to message offers. I won't reply." (actual copy from an ad...)

This one has been posted over and over for a long time. I can't figure out why it won't sell? Maybe because it's rather large? Or that the tubing is low(ish) end and people who know what a Cilo is, also know what Aelle tubing is?

I think in many cases it is best they don't. Labels, decals and finishes can be damaged by ham handed attempts to make the bike present better.

Maybe so, ham handed + "flippin" buffoon = crappy, overpriced, POS bikes.

it's a reasonable price, but I wouldn't pick up an Aelle-tubed bike unless I knew I was going to strip the parts and then sell or donate the frame. It's not bad tubing, but I've already got frames that have better tubing, so ... why?

OMG! I wonder what it would cost to ship one of those across the yuge mountains and the great prairie? sadly they don't look to be much bigger than maybe 57ish
