Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

you say that like it's a bad thing.
Also it's very low maintenance so it allows me to focus more time on stretching activities.

Eh, not happening. I prefer to wait until battery power can match the capability of this bad boy. I got no patience for putzing around when it's 93° or more.

Then you'll have a 1000 pound mower.

I saw that! But I think 7200 is as far back as I want to go. See, if I got Gen1, it might spur me to define a collection of all generations of Dura Ace, and that way madness lies!

I've decided I need to think seriously before dropping any coin on a new bike project.

I am in love with that Letour Luxe. I like the old school narrow bars. That bike is just so damn comfortable. I suffered another rim strip failure, the source of all of my flats for the past year or so. This time it was a Velox cloth one. I guess I need to wipe down the rim with acteone before mounting it. I carry the end of a roll of electrical tape in my under seat bag, for just such odball repairs

Speaking of colour, why isn't white the most popular bicycle colour? Discuss.

I'm pretty sure Miami Vice Ironman is the most popular colour bicycle.

Add orange tape and green tyres and Bob's your uncle.

Nope. Thought about it once. I'm not so good without a bit of warm up and you don't want to botch a note.
