Speaking of which, I know two women who have both given birth and had kidney stones and the both say kidney stones are worse.

I spent yesterday afternoon and evening taking the Lotus Classique apart, then taking apart the brakes and rear derailleur, cleaning them and reassembling. That was fun. I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to put the knuckle with the cage spring back together so it had tension in the right direction. I was putting it together from the back, and over and over again, I was adding tension in the wrong direction. What a dumbass!
Once the bike was taken apart, I polished the chrome fork legs, polished the paint with Scratch-X and did touchup painting all over. Under the red there's a yellow layer which gets revealed by every single scratch and nick. I decided to paint over those as best I could, because while the touchups might be obvious up close, the scratches were obvious from across the room.
Now I've got all the main bits done, and it's down to waiting on the arrival of things like a crank arm, a concave washer to replace the big, ugly reflector that served that purpose on the brake bridge, brake pads, Velox rim strips, a hook wrench for the headset, and GREASE! I used the last of my tube of Phil's on the hubs and last night's brake and derailleur extravaganza.

Mowed one of the lawns.
So much rain this week has the lawns at varying stages of height. It is very hot especially since I'm at a poor fitness level and my meds make me less tolerant of heat.
Going to order a suped up one of these in mesh with battery power and crabon blades. That should keep me cool and with crabon it will be very pro.
