I know which of my proportions are slightly out of norm and I addressed that: the corresponding dimensions of this JSO are *further* out of norm. But, if this fits you so well, I'll re-invite you to post up a pic illustrating such.

Lol. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't need to have credibility with you or anyone. I have no problem with the way any of the cheaper jerseys fit.
Unlike padded bike shorts, jerseys don’t make much of a difference. But it is what it is...A niche market full of people with disposable income. Cycling has become the new Golf. Everyone has a different perception of value, especially on items that many of us use for a hobby. At the end of the day, use what you feel comfortable with, because it isn't my money you are spending.

You're just too skinny in the middle! Not normal.

Yeah, no.
Rather than simply dismiss your smack-talking about "expensive" jerseys and your touting of inexpensive, no-name jerseys, I actually invested a bit of time, effort and money to try out what you stated was one of your favorite jerseys to wear. Having done so, I now know that you have *zero* credibility when it comes to judging cycling specific apparel. Compared to the entry level offerings of reputable manufacturers, this jersey:
- is made from significantly inferior materials
- shows inferior construction
- is poorly proportioned
- shows almost no consideration of activity-specific body position (the rear is dropped ~1.5", but that's about all of the insight that the designers possessed)
"Just as good"? Yeah, no.

Ha!!! You crack me up.
If I'm wearing them and have no fit or quality issues and I have friends wearing them aren't having any problems...I'm gonna say it's you, not the shirt. Or else you are just real picky.
Oh well... I'll keep me more money in my pocket while you feed the companies charging too much for a moisture wicking t-shirt.

I mean, golly, if that's not what we're supposed to do with money, then I've been doing it wrong for a long time.

Just so I understand you correctly: you're arguing that WhyFi is wasting his money by buying things he wants. Right?
I mean, golly, if that's not what we're supposed to do with money, then I've been doing it wrong for a long time.

First and foremost would be a full bottle of vodka.

What determines "too much"? It seems to me that the standard should be set by the one who is spending the money and using the product. I haven't yet seen anything that indicates that you would do a good job making that determination for me when it comes to cycling jerseys.

You'd have to hogtie me to get that thing onto my torso. What a sad waste of petroleum; it makes Larry's road rash look good.

Uh huh. Color me shocked.
Since you've obviously got nothing of value to add on the subject, this is where we part. Ta ta.

To give some context to the photos, What size/brand is the jersey in the pic? And, what size do you normally wear in whatever brand you wear? That could be helpful to the readers.

It's a medium and I typically wear a medium or whatever size the manufacturer indicates for a ~39-40" chest. I'm about 5'11" and, as mentioned previously, have a longish torso. For the medium to be this long on me is absurd.

Post #274 has much of that info.
