I wore the Asics Gel Nimbus from like the 8 all way to the 19 or 20, then they changed the footbed. It took me a few years bouncing between New Balance, Adidas, Brooks and other Asics until I found the Brooks Ghost. I’ve run through 2 pairs of the 14s which is the only reason I’m interested in trying the 15s.
Both of my Sauconys are incredibly light, but feel like an anvil compared to my wife’s Asics Metaspeeds. Talk about feather light! I’m curious how the Saucony’s will hold up mileage wise. I get 4-500 miles of running per pair, so we’ll see.
EDIT - tried Hokas too. Never did try Mizuno, but want to try their Wave Rider at some point.

Looks like they have about 3300 miles on them.
I could get new Shimano pads from the shop but wonder if I should switch to something aftermarket.

Second - Hmmm. Lakefront.... Underground garage.... We had a number of buildings with underground garages here that had underWATER garages during our recent deluge. It's had an effect on my thinking about basements and such.

I’ve never tried a mizuno either, but I feel like they excel at pretty much everything they make.

Something I've been having issues with recently - seems like my stock R7000 pads have been grabbing a lot of aluminum from my rims and require periodic cleaning with a sharp blade to keep braking quiet. Have you had any issues with that with the stock Shimano pads?
Looks like they have about 3300 miles on them.
