not a clue
Have purchased a pre owned e bike and know nothing about it.charged battery for suggested max time.lights and horn work ok but power gauge reads empty.nothing happens when I pedal away and then use throttle.any suggestions to look for before I change batteries,bike hasnot been used for a number of years.thanks for any help.

This could be very simple, like a poor connection someplace, or corroded terminals depending on the wiring scheme, or it could be a battery that no longer takes more than a 2-5% charge, which is why the horn works but there's no juice for the motor.
However, I suspect you'll get far more detailed and specific help over on the e-bike forum.
I suggest you post there, and also that you give it a title that will attract the right responders something like battery charged, lights work, motor doesn't.
