Shimano Claris R2000 remove Chainguard
I bought this crankset.
https://www.bike24.com/p2226997.html
It has a chainguard but I can't see any bolts to remove it.
Does someone knows if it can be removed?

Looks as if it's a HollowTech crank set which does not have a chain guard. That's the large chain ring The bolts should be on the inside (back part) of the crank set.

I noticed it has some phillips screws right near the 34T disc and some teeth doesn't allow for the screws to be removed.
Tried unscrewing the Allen bolts attaching the 34T ring to the bigger one but I desisted since I don't want to strip anything.
Here's a picture for reference.

OK! That doesn't appear to be a standard HollowTech crank, at least not the same as a 105 and higher. However, it does look as if you'll have to remove the hex studs in order to replace either of the chainrings. Removing the Phillips head screws might remove the face piece/ring guard, but it may not look very aesthetic after taking it off; if it does come off.

It's a Hollowtech crankset (Shimano Claris R2000), the first Claris crankset used Octalink but now the 2nd gen uses Hollowtech.
The hex bolts are too tight. I have a rotary tool similar to a Dremel, I think I'll remove the bits of plastic to expose the 50T tooth. Reason that I want to remove it is for ease of cleanliness where dirt and grime will accumulate there, with the chainguard on it will just get messier over time
