Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What do you guys think about Crew Bike Co.

The forks seem pretty light and the frames look good and seem pretty light too for the price and its an aluminum frame.
Crew Bike Co. :: Urban Cycling Company & Lifestyle Brand

Do any of you guys have any reviews or comments about them? much would be appreciated it.

I'll probably get it for this but the truth is most bikes steel/aluminum in the 200-600 ball park all all the same. They are literally ALL made in about 3-5 factories across Taiwan and China.

If it ain't a custom bike from a boutique shop or it isn't a more classic offering from the early 90s prior then it's a mass produced and the only real difference is the badge.

Anytime I see a newer shop talking about being an "urban and lifestyle brand," nine out of ten times it's a shop in So Cal or SF. They always say "Hand assembled in our shop" or "Hand assembled in California" but that simply means they ordered some frames from Taiwan and assembled the components in their shop.

Check our Retrogression...the member here Scrodzilla offers multiple aluminum and steel track bikes in that price range and could help you with a decision/questions.

Looks decent enough for the near-rock-bottom price, but yeah feels like just another company trying to cash in on the fixie trend.

Crew Bike Co. is a CityGrounds "house brand".

One of my friends just switched to a Crew. All of the city grounds alu frames are the same in my opinion, although the Crew is nice for the price. I would go for the Crew Carbon Fork. I would say the Carbon Fork with carbon steerer is great. Super stiff and light.
