Which Model Bianchi?

Hi All,

I am a lurker in the background, but recently I came across this Bianchi, stated to be from 1986 from the owner and he/she says it's a Mondiale where he is the first owner. Something just doesn't seem right to me. The Bianchi logo sticker from that year for the Mondiale doesn't look like that. Can anyone shed some light on what this bike might be?

Thanks!

Note: Just realized I can't post pictures yet. But the tube Bianchi stickers looked like those from a '87 Specialissima X4 (with the blue and yellow trapezoidal shape blocks), but it wasn't a X-4 because it didn't have silver fork crowns on top. Also it was stated to be Campy Super Record components throughout.

@Bianchigirll is always a good resource for these bikes.
Thanks for replying to my post. I actually thought that something went wrong and this post was not posted. I posted a similar post called "Please Help Identify This 80s Bianchi". Somebody helped me upload the pictures on that thread. The pictures for that Bianchi, on their suggestion, is already uploaded in my profile under the album called "Please Help Identify This Bianchi, Thanks!".

People in there are saying it's a 83 Specialissima SL with a weird fork...

Welcome to the forums. First of all where are you and the bike? Judging from your pics an "86 Mondiale is very likely however the tubing type doesn't match up. It's possible the decals were replaced for some reasonand that might be the reason for the gold accent and incorrect tubing type decals. The "86 Mondiale was a SL/SP frame and fork not SLX but did have a full SUper Record group. The wheels should be Mavic GEL 330 tublard but lots of people ditched them in favor of clinchers.
