I want to know, has any one bought scala rider??It is bluetooth connected to helmet set. I saw it at supercheap auto. It looks like a great technology.

SKS Race Blades. Mounted in like 5 minutes (I'm methodical), worked fantastically. The bike is still a mess, but it kept me dry (although gravel covered).
Definitely not using rain as an excuse this year.

How do they work with aero forks? My aero fork has much wider legs, the only reason that's kept me from getting them so far.

new to me, just picked her up, its some incentive to get back into shape for the spring
sorry for the crappy pic, the weather is not being especially nice today
caad7 optimo. came with full dura ace 7800 and lots of other goodies, the guy on CL was even nice enough to give me a new jersey and his cycling shoes.....just no wheels

I was all set to get fenders, until I came across reviews similar to this one. I suppose if I was wearing more expensive gear I might consider it. Until then, I don't care if I'm wet, I just don't wanna have to spend 45 min washing my bike when i get home. *sigh*

I have those, not an aero fork, but because of the shape of it or how the rake works or something the front fender won't work.

If you want to do a rain ride and not wash your bike when you're done: Buy a touring bike and put permanent fenders on there. Adjust them well, size them a big large.

36T inner ring to replace my 34T.. we'll see how this goes. 34T is on the rain bike now

A new bottom bracket for the Schwinn Cutter I got for Christmas. Someone told me the stock BB wouldn't last long and they were right: Less than a month before it started knocking after climbing a 12% grade. The LBS replaced the stock cup-and-ball BB with a cartridge, cost me $15.58. And boy does it feel nice.

Yep. Back up bike. Plus lightest frame on the market. Maybe I'll put SRam Red on it one of these days and make it super light. But this is fine for now, trade up is only costing me a net of about $1300 after I sell the Six13 and an extra set of older Kysiriums I have hanging around that I'm not using.
