Probably one of those 3 cylinder 2 stroke Kawasakis. A friend had a Triumph Trident which was plenty fast. He showed me by pulling a wheelie down the alley one day. He came to the same realization as your English woman and sold that bike and bought a Moto Guzzi.
It's not that Harleys and Guzzis are slow, it's a different culture.

I like mine with butter, salt, and pepper only. No need for sour cream, chives, bacon bits, etc.

LesterOfPuppets I found a refurbishing project for you. Actually, though I ride by it frequently and never seen it move, it was humming when I walked up to it. I found a worker who said the starter motor was plugged in to keep it warm. I found out that it’s in use this time of year to move hopper cars around to be loaded with grain by a grain elevator. Despite looking like crap, the worker said it starts up and runs great and they’ll be operating it tomorrow.

I like Yukon golds boiled til 80% done, then sliced and fried in olive oil, seasoned with sea salt and pepper, sometimes I'll throw in some fresh rosemary from the front yard, and occasionally squirt lemon juice on 'em

I wonder if they matched the leaves to the house or the house to the leaves...

Edit: I did find this info: "Pictures of UP 1202. PORTLAND OR Aug 20 1981 -- Union Pacific SW10 1202 handles a cut of cars at Albina Yard with the Fremont Bridge overhead. The unit was rebuilt (b/n 18854) at the UP’s shops in Omaha NB from SW9 UP 1866 on Jan 25 1980. It was retired on July 13 1998 and went to Farmers Grain Co-Op, Cruger (Eureka) IL in August 1998."
And, Cruger Station is where I took the pic.

Wow, hauling 5-gallon buckets on a flatbed like this sounds like a terrible idea... I wonder if they ever shut down the freeway, it sure got a nice paint job.

I had my consultation 1 week ago today. They were supposed to call me that afternoon to schedule my diagnostic procedure. Nope. I called them back the next day asking to be scheduled and left a voice mail. No return call. Yesterday after the holiday weekend I called and left another message. No response. At the end of the day I sent a message through the patient portal. Nothing. I left another message today suggesting a date. I waited all day today. Crickets.
Those bastards will hear from me once this is over. Generally, after a positive experience a customer will tell one person about it. They are called evangelists. After a negative experience a customer will tell 10 people. They are called terrorists.

And the self-service ones are the ones nearest the exits. You have to go by them to get out of the building.
