Quick Photoshoot of the Miele Latina

Finally got around to pretty much finishing up the Miele Latina. Still a couple of minor things but I'm planning on testing this one tomorrow. I just need to get some black bottle cages next time in town. The bike is 20 lbs 5 ozs as in the pics below, not bad. Full Shimano 600 Tricolor build but with Ultegra 9 speed STI shifters and paired with a SRAM PG-950 12-26T cassette and SRAM chain

Zonda wheels, Kurve Saddle Thomson seatpost and stem, and Look Keo Pedals. Fit is towards the relaxed side.

Fork doesn't bother me as much now with the black wheels other bits.

This is a shot of how I picked it up.

The more I look at this the more I think I need to go back to a black seatpost and stem. Put on the new matching bottle cages and this just feels wrong to me.

I think the black is the ticket and I am totally feeling how it looks now.

It's beautiful beyond belief, and I love those STI shifters, especially with the matching red wires. I'm wondering, though, why they call it the Latina since it doesn't appear to be a bike marketed toward females.

I hear that Miele makes great vacuum cleaners too.
