Bikes: In service - FSIR Spin 3.0, Bannard Sunny minivelo, Dahon Dash Altena folder. Several others in construction or temporarily decommissioned.

Have done in the past.

I like an IGH around town. If you have a lot of steep hills, there isn't enough range in a three speed to make them easy.

​​​​​​I use a 7 and an 8 speed hub on my commuting bikes. A 3 speed hub isn't enough for the hills around here.

Got my 1st S-A AW 3 IGH bike in 1956, like them better ,
More recently, I had a date stamped '94 AW3,
latest NIG design in their 3 speeds is a nice improvement 'BSR' is just a narrow version.

but Shimano hubs still are offered on bikes i work on @ LBS..
bell crank pushrod , rather than pull chain shifting...
