Did they actually produce that Schwinn Ontare? I don't think I've ever seen one before, but it appears to be identical to a 564. Both welded in MS under license from Klein.

Seems they did, at least for one year.
The CABE has a couple of threads about it showing more than one and offered for sale as late as Sep 2020.

It's weird but I never associate Miyata with aluminum or carbon. I think everyone I've seen around where I live has been steel.
